GoLocal Teams with SeeClickFix: Report Your Town's Problems

GoLocalProv.com will serve as host to the SeeClickFix platform in Rhode Island, a tool that enables the public to report neighborhood issues.
Here’s how it works. Readers can report any issue – from a broken sidewalk to a missing street sign to a pothole. By reporting on the SeeClickFix platform on the homepage of GoLocal – readers start the process.

Each week, GoLocalTV’s reporters Greg Berman and Lauren Marchetti will follow an issue from its posting and follow it through to the public works department in the respective city or town.
Meanwhile, readers can add comments and upload photos, while others can join in and vote on how important the issue is for their community. GoLocal has built a database messaging system that will trigger an email to the public works department of each respective town, notifying them of the issue, once it's been reported on SeeClickFix.

“SeeClickFix is a great reporting and accountability tool for residents. GoLocalTV will follow up on reported issues weekly to make sure residents of Rhode Island communities are getting action from their local town officials,” said Josh Fenton, co-founder of GoLocal.
Notifying Public Works

SeeClickFix already operates in 17,000 communities worldwide, and Rhode Islanders’ GoLocal and SeeClickFix partnership will ensure that potholes or addressed and town officials are held accountable.
