The National Weather Service has issued a "Hazardous Weather Outlook" for RI and southern New England for Wednesday afternoon.

NWS says that scattered thunderstorms with likely develop, with a chance of wind, hail, and flooding.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Connecticut, all of Massachusetts east of Berkshire County, and Rhode Island.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon, with a somewhat greater chance north and west of the Boston to Providence corridor. 

A few of these storms may produce damaging winds, hail, and minor urban flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
