Providence Mayor Angel Taveras and former Bank RI CEO Merrill Sherman will also attend the event as Honorary Co-Chairs of the 20th Anniversary Celebration.

According to President Warner, “this is a milestone year for our organization, we have committed to increasing the number of scholarships we provide for local students and it’s fitting to have the commitment and experience of community leaders such as Mayor Taveras and Ms. Sherman joining us in this effort.”

In the past 19 years LADO has raised over a quarter of a million dollars and provided over 300 scholarships to college students from Rhode Island.
