Jeopardy contestant -- and Brown University student Dhruv Gaur -- who lost Final Jeopardy, but won hearts around the world when he answered, “We love you, Alex,” got another round of adoration — on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“Obviously, I wasn’t going to win the game — so I was like, I could try and figure out the right answer, or I could do something for this person who might need it right now,” said Guar, of supporting Alex Trebek in his battle against cancer.

“That was really amazing and emotional,” said DeGeneres.

Guar, who had won $100,000 previously while on College Jeopardy, told DeGeneres how he spent the money.

“So I go to Brown, which costs a lot of money, so I spent a good amount of it on tuition,” said Guar.

“I took like 20 friends out and paid for all their meals, and they, apparently, according to the check, had a lot of fun,” said Guar. “And so did I.”

“It’s been crazy,” he said.
