Two students active in the Brown University Jewish community reported an anti-Semitic note being left in their apartment following a break-in.

According to Providence Police, officers were called to an off-campus building on Lloyd Avenue at approximately 6 PM on Tuesday for a report of a crime.

There has been an Israeli flag flying outside of the building since students moved in this fall.

Latest Student Incident

As GoLocal reported Monday, over 40 students were arrested protesting at Brown University.

It marked the latest at the Ivy League school in Providence — on November 8, Brown arrested 20 students at University Hall after a day of protests against the United States and Israel’s policies.

After processing the arrested students with Providence Police — and utilizing taxpayer resources — Brown later dropped the charges.

As GoLocal reported, Brown has repeatedly refused to answer if the University will reimburse the city for the Providence Police's staff time for the last round of arrests.
