Late Jim Skeffington's Mansion in Narragansett Burns

The mansion of the late Jim Skeffington was hit by a significant fire last night. The home located at 252 Ocean Road in Narragansett burned during the strong winds of the storm Hermine.

Skeffington, a prominent attorney and was the lead owner of the Pawtucket Red Sox and the chief force in the effort to move the PawSox from Pawtucket to Providence.

The 4,000 square foot mansion is assessed by the town of Narragansett at over $3.1 million.
