This Friday, national and state education stakeholders will gather in Rhode Island to discuss what is being called the civil rights issue of the 21st century -- adequacy & equity in education.  

Education leaders will be meeting for the symposium at Bryant University to discuss the relationship between education and the State Constitution, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a dialog with speakers and panelists on topics and questions that will include the following:

● Does the current education system create inequities that are civil rights issues?
