About Incident

Shortly after 5:30 PM on Sunday night, police responded to a report of a robbery at gunpoint at the Burger King located at 60 Hartford Avenue.

The cashier told police that a man came up to the register with a bandana covering his face demanding “all the money” from the register — and displayed a gun.

The cashier told police he walked away to notify his manager, who then returned with him to the register.

Both the manager and cashier refused to hand over money.

The suspect then reportedly fled out the front door.

Police say they were able to review the incident on surveillance camera and detectives are currently investigating.
