Messer Street Fire Station to Close Temporarily for Construction

Messer Street Fire Station is set to temporarily close for construction starting on Monday, June 17 at 6 p.m.

The engine and ladder companies that work out of the station have relocated to nearby stations and will continue providing service within their normal district.

Engine 8 has relocated to the Washington Street station and Ladder 2 has relocated to the Hartford Avenue station.

Improvements

Messer Street fire station will be temporarily closed for capital improvements that will be made within the station over the course of approximately 30 days.

Regular operations at the Messer Streets station will resume as soon as construction is completed.
