Starting in October, the Narragansett Bay Commission (NBC) will migrate from its current billing system to a new system. The new payment system will offer additional payment options.

All customers, even those who currently use online bill payment, must re-register through the new NBC customer portal to use AutoPay or paperless billing. The customer portal is accessible through NBC’s website, www.narrabay.com.

Any customer who registered in the former online payment system will receive an email close to the go-live date providing them a link to change their password. The link will route the customer to the new online payment portal, where they may follow the prompts to become re-registered.

The new billing system will offer NBC customers the option of paying with digital wallets, like PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, any major credit card, and in-store payments at Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens. Customers also have the option to enroll in AutoPay to pay their NBC bill automatically on time each month.

Customers may still elect to receive a paper copy of their bill and have the traditional options of paying via cash or check.
