The Rhode Island Department of Health announced Wednesday 52 additional COVID-19 cases in the state.

There are now 17,640 positive cases in Rhode Island and a total of 987 fatalities.

Currently, there are 59 hospitalizations and 5 in the ICU and 3 on ventilators.

The three-day average of people hospitalized now stands at 63.

Small Business in Focus

On Wednesday, Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo will be live at 1 PM for a coronavirus update.

Raimondo is expected to address small business funding among other issues.
