NEW: ACLU Calls Three-Tiered Diploma a ‘Caste System’

According to a press release, 90 percent or more of students who are African American, Latino, learning English as a second language, or in special education would be at risk of being denied a diploma or “stigmatized” when applying for jobs or college.
Those joining the ACLU in its protest were the RI Disability Law Center, the Autism Project of RI, Progreso Latino, and the Parent Support Network.
