NEW: Body of Missing Central High School Student Found in Providence Park Over Weekend

The Providence Police Department on Monday afternoon announced the identity of a body found in Collier Point Park in Providence on Saturday. 

According to the Providence Police:

The RI Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the body that was located in Collier Point Park on Saturday, May 4th as Cameron Chun, age 17, a Central High School student who has been missing since February 21, 2019. At this time, police do not believe foul play was involved; however, police are awaiting additional information from the Medical Examiner.

The Providence Police Department conducted a thorough investigation into this missing person case with the assistance of Cranston Police, Rhode Island State Police and the FBI.
