First-term Congressman David Cicilline leads Republican candidate Brendan Doherty by just one point, according to a poll released Tuesday by WPRI.

The survey of 300 likely voters has Cicilline out in front 42.6%-41.6%. Independent candidate David Vogel is clinging 6%.

Cicilline’s job approval is 35.3% and Doherty’s favorability rating is 42.3%.
