NEW: Gas Prices Down Four Cents

AAA’s July 2nd survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.47 per gallon, four cents less than last week. Prices locally have dropped 50 cents since the peak gas price seen in the April 16th survey.
The current price is 15 cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.32. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $3.70.
