NEW: Gas Prices Unchanged

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are unchanged this week, according to AAA Southern New England.

AAA’s July 9th survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.47 per gallon, the same as last week. Prices locally have dropped 50 cents since the peak gas price seen in the April 16th survey.

The current price is nine cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.38. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $3.75.
