NEW: Hunsinger Leaves Chafee Office, Zuckerman New Press Secretary

Governor Lincoln Chafee announced that Director of Communications and Press Secretary Christine Hunsinger has left her post to "pursue other opportunities," and that Faye B. Zuckerman, Deputy Director of Communications and Chief Speechwriter, will assume both roles vacated by Hunsinger.

“For the past three years, it has been my pleasure to serve the people of the State of the Rhode Island through the Governor’s office,” Hunsinger said. “I am proud that I was given this opportunity, and of my work to change the culture of government to be more transparent and easier to navigate.”

Chafee said of Zuckerman, “Faye has been a wonderful addition to my team. She has brought a strong vision and a terrific understanding of the communications field.
