NEW: Ira Magaziner to Deliver Health Reform Lecture at Brown
The lecture--held at the Alpert Medical School (Room 170) on Richmond Street--will be followed by a reception. Both are free and open to the public.
Magaziner is widely recognized as an expert on federal health care policy, having helped to craft the Clinton White House’s reform policies in the 1990s. He has continued to work on the issue on a global scale as chief executive officer and vice chairman of the Clinton Health Access Initiative. He graduated from Brown as valedictorian of the class of 1969 and remains a resident of Rhode Island.
