NEW: Joe Biden Coming To Newport For Democratic Fundraiser

US Vice President Joe Biden will visit Newport on August 22nd to attend a fundraiser hosted by the Democratic National Committee.

The reception will take place at the home of Alison and Bill Vereika, with guests being admitted at 3:15pm. Guests are asked for contributions starting at $1,000 for the general reception. For $2,500, guests can receive a photo in addition to the reception. For $5,000, host clutch will be included with the reception.

The same day Biden will also be visiting Salve Regina University in August to attend a celebration for Nuala Pell, the late wife of US Senator Claiborne Pell. The reception will take place in Ochre Court at 5:30pm.
