NEW: Massachusetts Surgeon Charged With Murder of Missing Wife After Remains Found

Massachusetts surgeon Ingolf Tuerk has been charged with the murder of his 45-year-old wife, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey and the Dover Police Department. 

Dover Police on Sunday Tweeted Boston 25 News’ coverage, which reported:

"Kathleen McLean was last seen in her home on Thursday evening and police were investigating the circumstances of her disappearance.

Her remains were found on Saturday night in an outdoor area near her home on 29 Valley Road.

Her husband, Ingolf Tuerk, has been arrested and charged with murder.

He is expected to be arraigned on Monday."

According to his LinkedIn profile, Tuerk is a robotic surgeon and chief of urology at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston and is a professor of urology at Tufts University School of Medicine.

He has a degree from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.
