NEW: Missing 10-Year-Old Cranston Girl Found Safe

The Cranston Police Department announced Wednesday afternoon that a missing 10-year-old girl has been found safe. 

On their Facebook page at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Cranston Police posted the following:

As GoLocal reported earlier on Tuesday:

The Cranston Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 10-year-old Jania McDuffie, who was reported missing on Tuesday night.

The Cranston Police posted the following:

Jania is described as a light skinned hispanic female last seen wearing a grey shirt with a bulldog on the front and camouflage tight pants.

There are no immediate signs of foul play and she is believed to have run away at this point. Cranston Police Detectives have been actively searching for Jania since she was reported missing last night. 

According to police, McDuffie was last seen in the Pontiac Avenue area near Beeckman Avenue.
