Monkeypox Cases Double in RI in One Week

The Rhode Island Department of Health confirmed on Friday that cases are now at 19.
Last Saturday, Rhode Island’s case count was 9.

Massachusetts currently has 117 confirmed cases.
The total number of cases in the country is now at 4,907 as of Friday.

On Thursday the New York State Department of Health officials designated monkeypox as an ‘imminent threat to public health.’
