The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority (RITBA) said an accident on the Newport Bridge Thursday morning is impacting traffic. 

 

"Multi car accident eastbound," RITBA posted to X at 9:40 AM. "Expect delays heading into Newport."
