NEW: National Association of Social Workers Offers Local Endorsements

The National Association of Social Workers – Rhode Island Chapter announced its endorsement of more than two dozen General Assembly candidates Friday. 

According to a press advisory sent by the the NASW-RI PACE (Political Action for Candidate Elections), the committee endorses candidates who show evidence of their commitment to the social work ethical principles of service, social justice, the dignity and worth of the person, the importance of human relationships, integrity, competence espoused in our Code of Ethics and have sought our endorsement.
