The student artists were Anthony Lescarbeau of West Warwick High School, Skye Whelpley of West Warwick High School (graduated) and Meaghan Marcus of Toll Gate High School.

“Throughout recent years, the City of Warwick has been successfully working with numerous local and state agencies to revive this historic park, which evokes many pleasant memories of our childhood. The ability to purchase a Rocky Point license plate is another unique way to pay tribute to this iconic piece of Warwick’s history and increase awareness of the legacy and historic significance of the park in our community while helping to raise funds to support the park’s future,” said Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian.

The cost of the plates - $41.50 – will be divided between the R.I. Department of Motor Vehicles for production costs ($21.50) and the Rocky Point Foundation for programming and preservation activities of the 124-acre park ($20.00.) Only passenger, commercial and combination current Rhode Island registrations will be accepted.
