Pawtucket Police Charge Woman With Filing False Police Report in Case of Missing Toddler

Pawtucket Police announced Sunday night that a woman has been charged related to the report of a toddler found by Route 95 Sunday morning. 

Shortly after noon on Sunday, Pawtucket Police said that a woman called in a report of a child found by Exit 26 shortly after 6:30 a.m.

According to police, the child was taken to Hasbro Hospital and then placed in DCYF custody.

Now, the initial reporting party, Daniella Praca, age 22, from Central Avenue in Central Falls, has been charged in this case with filing a false police report. 

Praca will be held pending arraignment by a bail commissioner on Monday.

According to police, the child’s parent has been located.
