NEW: Providence Council Chief of Staff Arrested for DUI

The chief of staff for the Providence City Council was arrested on DUI charges early Saturday morning.

According to a police report, Jake Bissaillon, 25, recorded a .120 blood-alcohol level on a chemical test. He refused a breathalyzer.

Bissaillon hit a parked car after swerving to avoid an oncoming vehicle, according to the report.
