Providence Police Investigating Double Shooting — and Double Stabbing — in City Overnight

Two men were found shot inside a vehicle.
Both were transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where one of the men is currently in critical condition.
About Stabbings
Shortly after midnight on Sunday, police responded to the area of Dartmouth Avenue and Broad Street for a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, police say they say a large amount of blood in the road.
Police say they encountered a witness who said he saw the drivers of two vehicles get into what appeared to be a road rage situation, with occupants then getting out and fighting.
The witness told police he then saw two females bleeding heavily — and then get into a third vehicle which he believed took off in the direction of Rhode Island Hospital.
Police went to the hospital where they found the two female victims. One was stabbed in the arm; the other in the arm and back.
According to police, one of the victims is cooperating and the other has refused.
Police are currently investigating both incidents.
