Providence Police are investigating potentially the first homicide in the city in 2021.

According to police, a man was dropped off at Rhode Island Hospital on Sunday morning, who had been shot.

He later succumbed to his injuries.

Victim Identified

On Monday, Providence Police held a press conference to release additional information.

The victim was identified as Tillman Hodge, age 44.
