NEW: Providence Police Look to ID Deceased Male -- Release Photos of Clothing

The Providence Police Department is looking to identify an unidentified decease male -- by his clothing.

The department on Wednesday released photos of clothing the individual was wearing (see below), with the following information.

"On Thursday, April 2, 2020 at approximately 13:24 hours Providence Police responded to Cranston and Bridgham Streets for a report of a man down.

Upon arrival, police observed a male subject with no positive identification lying in the street next to the curve. The subject also appeared to be intoxicated and did not answer questions from police and fire department personnel. 

The subject was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment where he died as a result of natural causes. 

Providence Police have not been able to identify the subject,  described a H/M approx. 40 years of age with short hair and med-heavy build. He was wearing the attached clothing when he was found. 

Police are attempting to notify next of kin and are asking anyone with information regarding this incident or subject  to contact Providence Police Detectives at (401) 243-6406 or Detective Sgt. Fabio Zuena at [email protected]."
