Lepore's Petition
The following was posted by Montella on Change.org
Tony Lepore The Dancing Cop is a retired police officer who boycotted a business, because of a worker who wrote on a coffee cup "Black Lives Matter" which she gave to an on duty police officer.
Tony`s group Citizens4Police asked for a firing of the employee, and a apology, and never received it from her, or the owner. Tony boycotted the business for four days, and that didn't work. So he then picketed the business. Now, because of some community group who seem to be anti-cop are asking for his firing from the Providence Christmas Traffic Event in Downtown in December.
Tony has been doing this event for 30 years, and is quite popular and people say he is as much Christmas, as Santa.
Please sign this petition to keep him doing this event for the shoppers, businesses and tourist who visit. Because he is world renowned and a big attraction to many. please sign petition. Thank you!
