State Representative and small business owner Doreen Costa (R-North Kingstown) blasted the city Thursday for issuing parking tickets outside her business, Charles Street Coffee Company, where she said people could normally park.

"The cars on Charles St. all have tickets on them," said Costa.  "I'm assuming there's a parking ban.  There is nowhere to park, it's a nightmare."

"There is no parking ban," said Evan England with the Mayor's office.  "They would get tickets if they were parked illegally."
