The number of COVID-19 released hospitalizations in Rhode Island has risen again.

Currently, there are now 74 hospitalizations, with 12 in the ICU and 6 on ventilators.

Rhode Island had seen a low of 60 hospitalizations on July 5, for the first time since March hospitalizations were below 70.

Now, the numbers are trending back up.

RIDOH reported 61 news cases and a three day average of 77 new cases.

As GoLocal has reported, the state has continued to see significant delays from testing date to results recorded — as much as 7-10 days.

Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo and officials will be live at 1 PM for their weekly coronavirus press conference.
