According to RI DLT Chief Public Affairs officer Angelika Pellegrino, the payments officially began on the following schedule.

"As of April 10, our system was programmed to automatically pay the $600 increase when a claimant certifies their claim via Teleserve," said Pellegrino.

"For those claimants who certified before April 10, their first $600 payment for the week ending 4/4/2020 is being processed manually this week," she added.
