RI Reports 111 Coronavirus Deaths in Past Week -- Hospitalizations at 455

On Tuesday, the Rhode Island Department of Health reported 15 fatalities over the past day, bringing the state's total to 1,570.

1,166 new cases were recorded over the past day on 12,229 tests.
Hospitalizations are at 455 with 53 people in the ICU.
Across the U.S., 201,073 cases were reported on December 14 — a 31% increase over a two-week period.
Deaths nationally on Monday were 1,678, a 65% increase over the same time period.
