The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 53 additional coronavirus cases on Tuesday, bringing the state's total over 22,000.

Testing was down from recent daily highs of over 8,000 -- on Monday, the state reported 3,562 tests were taken.

DOH reported two addition COVID-19 related deaths, for a total of 1,050 fatalities.

There are currently 81 hospitalizations.

Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo and officials will be LIVE at 1 PM on Tuesday.
