NEW: Riley Blasts Langevin for Skipping WPRO Debate

2nd District Congressional candidate Mike Riley is criticizing Congressman James Langevin for refusing to participate in a debate on WPRP scheduled for Monday, Oct. 22.

“I look forward to every opportunity to discuss the issues of this campaign with the Congressman,” Riley said. “I see it as giving the voters a clear choice in this election and an opportunity for both of us to express our ideas. I am disappointed the Congressman doesn’t want to put forth any of his plans to help RI’s struggling economy.”

The debate has now been canceled.
