NEW: Salted Slate’s Lloyd to Open Providence Wine Bar in Wayland Square

Wayland Square is slated to see a new drinking establishment open in May. 

Providence Wine Bar — the brainchild of Benjamin Lloyd of Salted Slate — will open in the spot on Angell Street previously occupied by Mercer’s Deli. 

Lloyd, who opened Slated Slate five years ago on Wayland Avenue and then the space now formerly occupied by Mercer’s — made the announcement on Facebook.
