The Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) evacuated the Knight Campus in Warwick -- after shell casings were found in the building, according to multiple law enforcement officials. 

Breakdown of Events

The Warwick campus of the Community College of Rhode Island was evacuated Wednesday morning when the school sent the following message to the CCRI community:

Please evacuate the Warwick campus immediately. Remain calm. Wait for further instructions.

CCRI then issued the following statement:

Warwick Campus only: Classes are suspended until further notice. Do not remain in the parking lot area. Addl info forthcoming.

At 10:24, CCRI Tweeted:

Update on Knight Campus Evacuation: It is NOT an active shooter. Police are on scene conducting investigation. More info to follow.
