NEW: Teamsters Call Out ProJo for Misleading Strike Coverage

Providence bus drivers with the Teamsters Local 251 who planned to strike over the issue of guaranteed hours said Tuesday that First Student had invoked a 21 day cooling off period to delay the strike -- but the Providence Journal erroneously reported that the Teamsters called the strike off.

Linda Borg posted the story at 10:20 AM, "Providence Bus Drivers Call Off Strike."

"That headline is misleading," said Williams, who noted the Teamsters were contacting the Journal for a correction.
