NEW: Watson Had Open Beer, Bag of Pot in Car

Former House Minority Leader Robert Watson had a can of Natural Ice, two bottles of Corona, a pipe with what appeared to be marijuana residue and a bag of pot in his car when he was arrested early Sunday morning.

The East Greenwich Republican also repeatedly swore at a police and asked, “do you know who I am” when he was being arrested, according to the South Kingstown police report.

The arrest was Watson’s second in less than a year. Last April, he was arrested for driving under the influence in East Haven, CT.

WJAR-TV is reporting Watson has checked into rehab.
