According to GoLocalProv's John Ghiorse:

1. The storm is now entering the Midwest will move off the New England coast and intensify Saturday night and early Sunday.

2. Light snow should begin in RI Saturday afternoon and become heavy at times Saturday night into early Sunday.

3. Storm track important since Central and Southern RI should see a mix or change to sleet and rain for a while early Sunday. The closer to the coast you live the greater the probability of a changeover taking place.

4. The storm should wind down Sunday PM and should go back to light snow before ending.

5. Accumulations should be 6-12" where there is no changeover (mainly N&W of Providence) with lesser amounts where the mix and change takes place to the S and E.
