Winter Weather Advisory Issued for RI: 2 to 4 Inches of Snow in Forecast
It is in effect from 7 PM Wednesday through 1 PM Thursday.
"Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph," says NWS, noting the advisory is for "portions of northern Connecticut, central, eastern, southeastern, and western Massachusetts, and northern and southern Rhode Island."

West wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
