NEW: WPRO's DePetro Suspended

630 WPRO talk show host John DePetro has been suspended after giving an interview to progressive political blog Rhode Island’s Future.

DePetro’s suspension comes less than a week after WPRO content producer Dee DeQuattro filed suit against DePetro, Cumulus Media, Citadel Broadcasting, DeQuattro's supervisor Barbara Haynes and lawyer Nicole Waller, claiming the popular talk show host sexually harassed her and the station failed to address it.

In his interview with the blog, DePetro claimed an internal investigation cleared him on any wrongdoing.

DePetro’s suspension is expected to last until Monday.
