The Crash

According to police, on October 13, at approximately 11:55 p.m. officers responded to the area of 550-570 Pontiac Avenue for a single motorcycle crash.

Upon arrival, police officers and Cranston Rescue personnel found Mattesini fatally injured as a result of the crash.

Witnesses to the crash confirmed Mattesini was driving a 2018 Yamaha motorcycle, traveling south on Pontiac Avenue at a very high rate of speed.

He lost control and struck several fixed objects where he sustained severe injuries.

According to police, at this time speed is the only contributing factor to the crash.
