At the repast after the funeral at Bellini Restaurant in downtown Providence, the family parked Coia’s beloved 2011 GTO Ferrari. The previous owner of the car was noted winemaker Ken Evanstad of Oregon.
The valets adorned the Ferrari with brass stanchions.
The car is valued at approximately $1 million.
Coia was married to Donna Paolino Coia, and her family owns the Beatrice Hotel, in which Bellini is located. Flying above the car on the hotel’s flag pole was the Laborers’ International Union flag.
Some onlookers took photos of the million-dollar car.
