The City of Providence spent $35 million dollars to rehab Nathan Bishop middle school a decade ago.

A few years later, the city rehabbed the adjacent basketball and tennis courts.

Now, in the spirit of Wimbledon, grass is growing through the cracks in the tennis courts. These are Providence East Side's nicest tennis courts.

On one of the courts, the poles for the nets are bent. The adjacent basketball court is cracked and often is missing nets.
