The Rhode Island Jewish Federation hosted a prayer vigil Monday night to "pray for and honor the memory of the hundreds of innocent Israelis who have tragically been murdered and pray for peace and the safe return of those who have been kidnapped."

The numbers being reported on Monday are horrifying. More than 900 Israelis were killed in the sneak attack by Hamas on Saturday. At least 11 of those killed are Americans. Horrifying details of mass rapes and killings of children and the elderly are now being reported.

More than 100 Israelis have been kidnapped and taken to Gaza.
