Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed at Gunpoint in Providence

A Providence pizza delivery driver reported being robbed at gunpoint in Providence over the weekend. 

About Incident

Police responded to Golden Crust Pizza on Douglas Avenue shortly after 2 AM on Sunday morning to respond to a report of a robbery.

The male victim said he went to deliver a pizza to Joseph Street, which is located between Admiral Street and Douglas Avenue.

He said two masked men approached him and pointed a gun at him, demanding all his money.

The suspects reportedly took several hundred dollars and the victim’s phone, and fled on foot. 

The victim returned to Golden Crust to call police; detectives are currently investigating.
