Police: House in Providence Targeted in Shooting With Over 30 Shell Casings Hit Again

The latest incident happened early Saturday morning.

Shortly before 5 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of shots fired at 99 Bowdoin Street in Olneyville.
The location had been the scene of a shooting early Thursday.

On Saturday morning, upon arrival, police found nine shell casings in front of the house, as well as bullet casings inside on the first and second floors.
Police then evacuated residents.
According to police, in one of the units, a bullet hole was present in a television screen with a casing nearby.
Providence police are currently investigating.
Thursday's Incident
Shortly after 3 a.m. on Thursday morning, police responded to 99 Bowdoin Street in Olneyville for reports of shots fired into house.
When police arrived, a woman told police that several windows had bullet holes in them. Police observed bullet holes in several windows, as well as bullet casings in the parking lot and back yard.
The woman’s daughter told police she heard gunshots, and then saw a red laser pointed into the house followed by a bullet shot through the window.
According to police, other minors in the apartment said they heard gunshots.
Police are currently investigating.
